People Greetings Seminar

8:00 AM on 8/24/2019

Greeting people can be so exciting for some dogs, they have a hard time keeping their feet on the ground. Some dogs are afraid of new people and attempt to run and hide. Teaching polite people greeting takes different techniques for different dog personalities, and helping the dogs understand the rules apply to everyone takes adding generalization. Learn about these behaviors, techniques, and get some great practice at our People Greetings Seminar!

* Some dogs need reactive rehab before attempting people greetings. Dogs who show reactivity should have a prior consultation with our trainer to see if this is a behavior we can work on in the seminar.

Reactive Rehab Seminar

Reactivity is when a dog overreacts to certain things or situations. Genetics, past experiences, lack of proper socialization, training, or any combination of these can cause reactivity. Reactivity can be an over excited puppy, a dog with high prey drive, or a dog who barks and lunges when on leash. To better understand what’s causing your dog’s reactive behavior and how to train your dog to keep calm sign up for our reactive rehab seminar!

*Some dogs need private lessons before attempting reactive rehab. Dogs who have bite or people aggression histories should have a prior consultation with our trainer to see if this is a behavior we can work on in the seminar.
