Iris Iris is a female, spayed Golden Retriever mix. She is approximately 2 1/2 years old. She gets along great with people and with other dogs. She is crate trained. Hi there... My full name is Founder Murdock Wedding Day. Seriously. I was "Found" in the middle of 290 just outside of Elgin by a very nice couple on their way to a reception for someone’s "Wedding Day". Murdock is the name they gave me in Town Lake Animal Shelter. That's all. I'm pretty cool because I'm playful and affectionate all in one. Fetching, nuzzling, the finer things, ya know? I LOVES me some riding in the car and I am otherwise into red, paisley ties and long soulful walks. I'm not SUPER keen on other animals but I have played doggone well with other pups and have been known to WANT to play with cats but for some reason they just aren't into it. Yeah, but what are you gonna do...? Look, here's the bottom line, I NEED a happy home with someone that is into dogs on a more attentive and loving level. I have abandonment issues and I'm not afraid to admit it. Seriously, the middle of 290...in traffic. Let's take care of EACH OTHER. Oh yeah, I'm male, neutered/spayed (not sure but still mad about it), black and tan, a Capricorn, about 40 pounds and at or around a year and a half in age.
