One of the best things you can do for you and your dog is obedience training. With proper training techniques, patience, and practice, you will establish teamwork with your canine companion. At Onion Creek Kennels, we believe in establishing a relationship of trust and respect between dog and handler. We are committed to using motivation and positive reinforcement in obedience training. Our goal is to train you to work successfully with your happy, obedient dog!
AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing
Saturday, October 25, 2008 Entry Fee: $10.00 Start Time: 10:00am CGC Evaluator: Sally Johnson All dogs, including both purebred and mixed breed dogs are welcome to participate. *Must have proof of Rabies Certificate. The dog must wear a well-fitted buckle or slip collar of leather or fabric. Testing will be performed by an AKC registered evaluator. Qualifying dogs will receive a copy of the test form which can be sent to AKC with a $5.00 recording fee to receive AKC's Official CGC Certificate suitable for framing.
Immunization requirements: Dogs are required to be currently vaccinated for Rabies and DHLPP. The Bordetella vaccine, also referred to as Canine Cough, must be current within the last six months. The Bordetella vaccine should be administered at least one week prior to the anticipated boarding/training/grooming date for maximum effect. The most current receipt from your veterinarian may be faxed to our office at any time to (512)295-8065. Otherwise, current vaccination records must be present upon arrival.
